Just a confession here: I'm not into high fashion and designers. I can appreciate the art of fashion design, but I'm not the girl who will watch every single show, admire all the looks that go on the catwalk and then write a detailed critique of them afterwards. Therefore, you won't see many posts here about lookbooks and new collections. But don't get me wrong! Occasionally, some designer frock will catch my eye or a brand's lookbook will appeal to me, like the affordable line Jason Wu designed for Target.

I love the prints and the 50's schoolboy/girl feel of some pieces. This collection also includes more sophisticated and ladylike styles, like retro dresses, chic blouses and short circle skirts. Besides a bunch of people complaining on the ''anorexic model'' (she's thin, get over it!) and a few older ladies being very disappointed in the collection for not being ''age-appropriate'' and looking like ''kid's clothes'' (''What's the matter with this generation?'' says one unhappy woman), the public's response seems pretty good and I believe the pieces will quickly sell out.
I really wish we had Target stores in Québec City... I would surely snag a few dresses before they're gone! See the whole collection here. What do you think of this collaboration? Which look/piece would you wear?
