It's spring and the weather is so lovely today! This morning, I took a walk on Rue Saint-Jean and got two used vinyl albums at Sonny Musique: The Beatles' Meet the Beatles and Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA. This is my first Springsteen album. I don't know many of his songs, but I wanted to expand my musical culture so I took it home. I'm listening to the first side of the vinyl right now and I really like it. Instead of working on homework, I would like to take the road, roll down the windows, sing along to Springsteen and enjoy freedom. Oh, how I would like to have my own car... Two weeks ago, there was a green VW bug for sale in the classifieds, but it sold super quickly! Anyway, I'm not allowed to drive alone for a year after getting my learner's license... If I had a car right now, it would just sit in the driveway and sink into the mud. Ha! I still have plenty of time to find my motorized soul mate ;)
As you can see, I took advantage of this unusually warm day and took outfit pictures outdoors. Shooting outside allows me to get the most potential out of my beloved 50mm f1.4 lens. My room is so small that I can't shoot full-body shots with this lens and I have to go outdoors to use it. Now that it's not -30°C anymore, I will go out way more often. But only when the neighbours are not there to observe me twirling and being silly in the driveway! Haha! Maybe I'll just use the ''Oh, I'm just working on a school project'' excuse... it works every time!
