That's What's Up

Sorry for the week-long absence! I put myself on some kind of computer desintox. I think it's important to step away from the computer once in a while, especially when your job or field of study requires the almost-constant use of technology. I got some extra hours of sleep instead of roaming around the internet 'til 1AM! Also, I seriously considered deleting my Facebook account... but then I remembered how useful it is to be in the known about upcoming indie music shows at Le Cercle and to communicate with Ton Petit Look's ladies. Therefore, I finally decided to keep my account. I don't visit Facebook very often, anyway. It's such a poisonous procrastination tool, really! Spending hours a week scrolling trough drunken party pics, weather ranting, tons and tons of inside jokes... No, thanks. It's just empty, uninspiring content. When I feel like browsing just for the sake of it, I gravitate towards design inspiration websites. Here are some of my favourites:

I also have a Tumblr account where I follow various tags like vintage, 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, packaging, DIY, Ryan Gosling (haha!), psychedelia, glo-fi, web design and screen printing. Plus, I keep a few virtual mood boards on Pinterest. This way, I'm always surrounded by totally awesome stuff that strike my fancy. Hey, seeking inspiration is the healthiest form of procrastination! What are your favourite websites? :)

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - That's What's Up

A bit reminiscent of Baris Louis Polisar's Me And You, lyric-wise. Totally adorable and catchy!
