I am still exhausted from the weekend! For those who don't know, I'm a waitress at a local restaurant. It was scorching hot and very sunny last weekend and our outside tables were very popular. It was my turn to work outside... so I worked a lot! Thank god it was fun. The customers were nice and I soaked up a ton of vitamin D. However, I must say that I was glad to get a well-deserved day off afterwards ;)
This is what I'm wearing right now. It's very humid outside and we're expecting 40°C temperatures today. I put on a lightweight dress and golden sandals, but I felt like something was missing to I threw on a boater hat. I really wanted a boater hat, but I was not willing to pay much for it. I was pretty lucky to find one for just 5 $ at Urban Outfitters. I love it when they offer 50% off sale items! I try not to attend those sales too often, though... It would be absolutely deadly for my wallet!

Such a pretty hat - I've been looking for just the right one myself for weeks now and I think this might be it!! It's amazing how all it takes is a hat to up the style ante! Very envious of your hot weather..it's still tights and a cardigan weather here in Ireland!
