i will never love you more than the white album of the beatles

Pardon my french, but fuck yeah it just rained! It refreshed and cooled the air a bit, therefore I can layer a ton of clothes and wear my beloved big bangs without suffocating. Awesome! Plus, I think cloudy days offer the some of the best lighting conditions for outdoor photos. Sure, it doesn't beat the golden hours (the first and last hours of sunlight during the day), but see how soft the lighting looks on these pictures? No harsh shadows, no bright sun flares... I also love how the light is reflected through the little droplets on the leaves. From afar, it makes trees and plants magically glisten!

What is your favourite time and place to take pictures outside?
Dress: Billabong // Tee + socks: H&M // Necklace: UO // Loafers: thrifted

SoKo - I Will Never Love You More

  1. I live in Arizona and there are 360 days of sunshine here. Anyone else would think this was great, but me being a photographer and blogger, I have to say that it's the harshest environment to photograph! It's too damn hot to even stand outside! I can't wait for it to cool off so that I can scout out good places for outfit shoots. I've been stuck photographing under my carport!

  2. Whooohooo for some refreshing rain! I hear you girl. Can you send me some my way?

  3. I really like taking pics at any sort of park or beach because I'm able to either stand out with a fancy outfit against the greenery, or wearing nature-oriented colors that allow me to blend in with the trees and plants. Being outside just gives me a rush of energy, resulting in elevated motivation to take pics.
BTW: Love the necklace, I've been looking for one like it for awhile.

  4. That skirt + shoes/socks combo is perfect!

  5. That's such a cute print!

I like taking photos against pretty white exterior walls in the shade on a bright day.

  6. looove this look! I loove to take pictures with the light from sunset, that's def my fav.
