Whoa, this is my first outfit post in ages! Over the last few months, style fell at the bottom of my priority list. Things have been pretty tense at home (to put it nicely, there is such thing as too many adults under the same roof), so I've been unofficially staying at my boyfriend's place since October. Living with the guys is fun, but my tiny weekend bag lifestyle is not convenient for personal style blogging. Not having access to my closet in the morning, I don't play with my clothes as much as I used to... However, it also has its perks: my style is much simpler now and I got better at mixing and matching clothes.
I must say that putting this blog aside for a while gave me more time to focus on school. Sometimes a blog can turn into a sneaky form of procrastination, you know? ;) However, I really missed chronicling my personal style, showing off my design projects and sharing fun stuff. I want to get back to blogging, but this time I will stick to a schedule. My main goal for 2013 is to manage my time better. Between internships, school and work, this semester is going to be completely crazy! I think I'm ready for the challenge, but I don't want to get overwhelmed like I did a while ago. I recently stumbled upon these inspiring posts by Kinsey (on keeping a blog schedule) and Elsie (on being a workaholic and still having a life) and I think their advice will be very helpful for me during the next months.
What are your best tips to manage your time? Do you have a blogging schedule?

Hey, I've missed you! So happy about you managing the time to blog but please do pop in once or twice. I hope whatever kind of problem you're having, can be resolved anytime soon :)
ReplyDeleteJust here to let you know your readers love you! <3
Oh is nice to have you back <3 but I totally understand what not knowing how to find time for blogging feels like. I love that lace skirt and as usual your color tights <3 hope this 2013 is so much better than last year and I'll definitely check those articles on keeping blogs schedules, I once tried but I was so bad at it that only lasted like 2 weeks

Lovely outfit !
ReplyDeleteI've tried the blog schedule and all but it didn't work for me. The only tip I've discovered it to only blog when I feel like it, not because I feel pressured to. And as you notice, your readers are still there when you post :)
ReplyDeleteSchool should always be a priority!

Très jolies photos! Ca fait plaisir de te revoir un peu par ici! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, the only thing I can say is to make the most out of every minute. I schedule my friend and life first, and then I manage my blog time on my pause at work and in between everything else. I often eat dinner in front of my computer. Virginie is right, it's better to post when you feel like it!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day :)
