Hello redhead my old friend + Movember!

Yup, I did it again. I guess I'll never settle down! Since trading my signature black locks for a ginger mane back in march/april, I've been trying various shades of brown, auburn, deep red and briefly went back to black after a fling with ombré hair (back then, it was down to my ribcage and I felt like a mermaid!). I even thought of dying it pastel pink around the end of summer, but I got hired at a boutique where I am not allowed to have an "unnatural" hair color. Bummer. I would have loved to style it in a cotton-candy beehive. I hope I will someday get a job that allows me to have more fun with hair color.

In another note. happy Movember! For starters, Movember is about growing a moustache to raise funds and awareness to combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges. The Mo Bros (ha!) must start the month clean-shaven, then grow and groom their moustache all through November, asking friends and family to donate to their efforts. My best guy friend is participating in this year's edition - you can donate through his team's page right here. Feel free to spread the word among your male friends so they can participate, too!

My friend (and ex-creative director) Emilie made the logo, you can read her blog here.
She's travelling Europe while freelancing. Dreamy!

  1. I love the red on you! I always used to dye my whole head bright red, but now I just dye the front chunk. Any tips for keeping red vibrant? It always fades so fast!

  2. Being redhead actually suits you, it complements your eye color. Beautiful. :)

  3. The red looks great! Although, I am totally biased as a dyed redhead myself. :) And I'm in the same boat as you; I'd love to dye my hair a bright purple but until work allows it, red is as crazy as I'll get!
